The campaign stars

The It's in our nature campaign stars four of the literally thousands of different plants, animals and birds which make up Northern Ireland’s biodiversity – the red squirrel, the brent goose, the basking shark and the blue-eyed grass. For different reasons, these species are all very special and important to our biodiversity – they are priority species. Find out more about them.

The campaign has been developed by the Environment & Heritage Service in partnership with a range of conservation charities, government bodies and industry representatives.
